UPDATE: The knife arrived – see picture below. Already used it and so far, so good. The grooves are suppose to prevent food you chop from stacking up on the blade, costing you time as you when you have to clean the blade off. I found this handy dandy little fellow at QVC on sale for under $20 and it’s been great.
I’m eagerly awaiting the arrival of a new knife, so to celebrate the occasion, I thought we might look a some knife techniques. I’ve been employing several of these for many years, but I’ll have to admit – I’m looking forward to trying the julienne technique on carrots!
